Krakow, the second largest city in Poland, is a perfect destination for a short city break. Krakow is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world, in fact, it’s Old Town was the very first place to achieve UNESCO World Heritage Site status.

I’ve spotted some great value flights from London – Krakow this September, and i’ve combined it with a 5* city centre hotel that is currently showing at a promotional rate that is **less than half** the usual rate. This is an incredibly good value deal and one of the most affordable 5* hotel deals i’ve posted, coming out at £100.50 per person.

The hotel is the Holiday Inn Krakow City Centre, one of the few 5* Holiday Inns in Europe. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk from the Main Market Square and just 10 minutes from the Kazimierz Jewish District. It is highly rated, receiving 9/10 on most booking sites.

The dates are Saturday 26th – Tuesday 29th September with flights from either London Gatwick or London Luton. However; there are other weekends in September with similar rates and other regional airports have offers too that you might want to check out:

The hotel is offering a promotional rate at the moment, that is valid on these dates, which makes the nightly rate less than half the usual rate (see the top of the below screenshot). If you change your mind or COVID prevents you from going, you can cancel the booking and you’ll just be charged the cost of 1 of the 3 nights, or alternatively Holiday Inn has been known to reschedule bookings directly without cost:

£148 (Hotel) + £56 (2 return flights) – £2.98 cashback = £201.02 / £100.51 per person.

Not bothered about flexible bookings?

If you’re willing to take the risk and not book a ‘flexible rate’, you could book this deal via by clicking here and applying a £30 discount code found here. This would bring the cost down slightly to £96pp – but of course you have less flexibility as the booking is completely non-refundable.
